From the rise of microbreweries and sweet indulgent bakeries, to the unique shops and restaurants of its downtown cores, Thunder Bay and region is experiencing a resurgence of Artisanal Craftsmanship among its earthy, art-making community. In that same Artisanal vein, the Laughing Fox Writers is a collective of inspiring and inspired authors, poets, editors and playwrights currently making our dens in Northwestern Ontario. We are all at different places in our literary careers; some traditionally published while others are independent; some are local or national award-winners, while others are patiently waiting for their first endeavour to see the light of a reader's bedside table. We have seen success, we have seen setbacks, but we keep going; reading, writing, publishing (in all its various forms) and encouraging the storyteller in each of us.
